This general Leave Policy ensures employees get the time off they are entitled to, without leaving the business short-staffed. It captures your business' leave practices ensuring absences are fair and reasonable, along with the employee’s entitlements to leave, when it can be taken and how to apply for it. (This policy includes the paid family and domestic violence leave provisions that come into effect from 1 February 2023 or 1 August 2023 for small business employers).
