Liquid HR was engaged by a technology business to take responsibility for its HR function. After an initial review, it was decided that a consultant would work onsite for two days per week to provide hands-on HR support.
A key request from the Managing Director was to focus on employee engagement—which was already at a good level—but they wanted to strive for ‘great’. Beyond day-to-day HR duties, over 12 months, the consultant worked to integrate engagement-focused initiatives across the business. These ranged from small but meaningful improvements like consistent employee recognition to larger workforce development strategies.
Ultimately, the company saw a significant increase in employee engagement, reaching over 90%, which earned them recognition as an Employer of Choice by an independent engagement survey provider.
