Position: Casual HR Consultant
Location: Sydney, Australia
Liquid HR is an established HR Consulting firm providing unrivalled support and advice to small and medium-sized businesses. We are seeking a casual HR Consultant to join our team and provide Sydney based clients with a broad range of HR Consulting Support, both onsite and remotely from home.
Responsibilities:
- Onboarding programs: Develop and implement effective onboarding programs for new employees to ensure a smooth transition into the company and to set them up for success.
- Performance and feedback systems: Assist clients in designing and implementing performance management systems that align with their business goals and help to improve employee performance and productivity.
- Employee Retention: Provide guidance and support to clients in creating employee retention strategies that aim to reduce turnover and improve employee satisfaction.
- Learning and Development: Work with clients to design and facilitate training programs and workshops that meet the specific needs of their employees and support the company’s goals.
- Remuneration benchmarking: Assist clients in understanding and benchmarking the remuneration and benefits offered by their competitors to ensure they are competitive in the market.
- Employment Relations: Provide advice and support to clients in managing employment-related issues such as grievances, disciplinary actions, and terminations, in accordance with the Fair Work Act and other relevant legislation.
- Leadership development: Work with clients to design and implement leadership development programs that aim to build the skills and capabilities of their managers and leaders.
- Employee engagement initiatives: Provide guidance and support to clients in creating employee engagement strategies that aim to improve employee satisfaction, retention, and performance.
- Adhoc projects: Perform other HR consulting tasks as required by clients.
Qualifications:
- Generalist HR Consulting experience working across a portfolio of clients or business units
- Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, NES and the Award system
- Experience developing and facilitating training programs
- A flexible and adaptable personality that can ‘ride the wave’ of a busy consulting environment
- Loves a good laugh
